How to Donate
Donations need to be by check made payable to ”Collaboratory“ and in the memo line note “Sanibel Trails in Motion Fund”. Checks should be mailed to:

After receipt of your gift you will receive a donor letter from the Collaboratory. Unfortunately, donations to the TIM fund through the clubs website is not operational so you need to donate through the Collaboratory as mentioned above.
Sanibel Trails In Motion fund:
As previously shared with Club members and the public at large, the Sanibel Bicycle Club (SBC) donated two Patrol E-bikes for use by the newly formed Sanibel Path Rangers. The Path Rangers are a division of the Sanibel Police and are tasked with promoting safety and education for proper path use as well as to aid in rule enforcement. The presentation of the bikes to the City took place at City Hall on October 20th. Our Club President, Jim Myer, presented a check for almost $10,000 dollars to Mayor Mike Miller as well as other City leaders and Police officials. This donation was made possible through the SBC’s Trails in Motion Fund (TIM). The TIM fund supports infrastructure, safety and education for the Shared Use Path (SUP). In the past, the fund has donated funds for the Welcome Gazebo as well as many other SUP amenities and trail extensions. The TIM fund is managed by the Fort Myers Collaboratory and provides funding via grants identified by the SBC. Funding for the TIM is made possible through donations from club members and other interested members of the community who are committed to maintaining our precious SUP. All donations made to the TIM fund are separate from club membership dues and are fully tax deductible.
The SBC currently has an opportunity to expand the fund via an anonymous matching gift. Any donation made to the TIM prior to January 1, 2026 will be matched up to $10,000. As you are planning your charitable contributions this year, please consider making a gift to the TIM fund. This is a great time to replenish the fund and continue to build it for future SUP projects. No amount is too small, and remember every dollar you donate will be matched up to $10,000!
