Withlacoochee Bike Trail

Overnight trip to Inverness with two days of riding 10-20+ miles. Travel time is up to 4 hours from Sanibel, so plan accordingly. We will stay at Central Motel, 721 US Hwy 41. We have reserved a block of rooms at $99/night. Call 352-726-4515 and mention the club to get this special rate.

FULL ITINERARY

Tuesday March 26
Meet in parking lot at Central Motel at 1 pm. We will travel north on the trail for 10 miles to the Parkview Bowling Alley in Holder. Snacks and bathrooms are available. Return to Central Motel or ride farther (5 miles). Everyone is always free to go as far as they want. Social meet up at the pool at 5 pm (each day bring your own drinks and a snack to share if you want). Dinner at 6:30 pm.

Wednesday March 27
Meet in motel parking lot at 9am. We will travel south on the trail to Flora City and beyond. Eating places for lunch are mostly available in Flora City. Probably best to grab lunch in Flora City on the return trip. Shamrock Inn in Flora City- Robins Country Kitchen(open until 2 pm). The bike ride is up to 25 miles one way going south. Social meet up at the pool 5 pm. Dinner at 6:30 pm.
