Club Potluck Dinner: Club potluck dinners are held on the 2nd Monday of the month at the Sanibel Community Center, beginning at 5:45 and ending at 8:15 PM.
Members attending are asked to bring a "hearty" hors d‘ouevre to share (appetizer, salad, side dish, entrée or dessert), with enough to feed about 8 people. All beverages, including water and ice, are “BYO." Bring what you want to drink.
We recognize that some members may be concerned about attending large group gatherings. The Community House has initiated a rigorous program of new practices to maximize safety. Meeting rooms will be disinfected prior to/after each group event. In addition, a major cleaning will be done at the close of each business day. Disinfectant wipes/spray will be placed in conference rooms for use by attendees. SBC will use the full 7,000 sq. ft. facility so that 8‘ long tables will be placed six feet apart and will seat only four people per table. A total of 96 people can be accommodated for each meeting. Members will bring their own food and beverage. We will not set up a coffee table. Masks will be required to enter the building and during socializing, but not at dinner tables. SBC can adjust this new "Covid setup" as we go along if we find that the situation with the virus changes one way or the other.
